Browser Extension Services
Our browser extension includes applications that can help us search and find public information on products sold by online retailers, which we store in a secure database and surface to signed-in users via ORIS Intelligence’s PROWL website. In order to use the browser extension, users must sign into PROWL.
When a signed-in user uses the extension service, we give the option for the user to collect, process and store information from the websites they visit within the ORIS framework, such as page url, product pricing, product quantities and availability. We do not share information about a user’s research activity with any third party unless required by law.
Users of our browser extension may deactivate our browser extension feature at anytime by removing it from the extension settings in their browser.
We may use certain usage data in aggregate form that does not identify any user or the user’s company. We combine this usage data as a statistical measure to help us improve our services to all users, such as by improving our research capabilities, databases, and determining peak demand loads.
