Account Executive

ORIS Intelligence is looking for a strategic Account Executive to help build our market position as a leader in online retail intelligence within the exploding eCommerce space. Position:  Account Executive

Location:  Columbus or Remote

Reports to: Enterprise Sales Manager

 

You’ll play an essential role by:

  • Identifying, prospecting and qualifying new customers
  • Achieving/exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of ecommerce and online marketplaces.
  • Developing relationships at the highest executive levels to capture new business
  • Leading client negotiations and decision-making processes
  • Managing a sales pipeline and developing strategic account plans to maximize opportunities
  • Supporting marketing-related events and campaigns to increase brand awareness and improve sales within target markets

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • Proven, results-oriented performer with experience selling SaaS, enterprise software or online subscription services (think multiyear contracts and per seat licenses). 5+ years of experience is a must.
  • Excellent skills in prospecting, relationship building, sales planning and territory management
  • Demonstrated success hitting consistent quotas and managing sales pipelines
  • Experienced and enjoys working with a small resourceful team to build a special company
  • A high comfort level selling into the large divisions of brand manufacturers.
  • Online / Brick & Mortar retail industry or brand manufacturer experience with leading national or global multichannel brands a big plus
  • Experience in price policies such as Minimum Advertised Price (MAP/iMAP), Unilateral Price Policies (UPP), and Resale Price Maintenance (RPM) a big plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • An ability to fully leverage LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media platforms
  • Superb communication and presentation skills, tremendous attention to detail and an ability to work collaboratively, independently and virtually
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience using and managing a CRM

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Identify, uncover, and develop account opportunities with brand manufacturers.
  • Achieve new account quota for signings and revenue plans.
  • Excellent ability to properly qualify projects to maximize an efficient sales cycle.
  • Accurately forecast and close recognizable brands to exceed goals.
  • Manage the overall business relationship with customers, including daily, weekly, and monthly communication, contract negotiation, and strategic direction.

Sales Operations Manager

ORIS Intelligence is seeking a high-energy and process-driven Sales Operations Manager to manage sales processes via direct input and past experience, iterating till it’s just right. Key to this key role will be to implement new tools and lead generation efforts, build out your knowledge of MAP and drive results through monitoring and reporting key sales metrics. The Sales Operations Manager will report directly to the CRO and will excel and thrive at creating and establishing sales processes that help us win!

 

Position: Sales Operations Manager

Location:  Columbus, OH or Remote

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

 

The Sales Operations Manager will optimize the use of the CRM, use reporting capabilities of the CRM to drive efficiency and transparency which will help connect the dots to optimize results. This manager will be responsible for documenting all sales process (this is a good thing!) and procedures regarding the sale of ORIS products and provide hands-on training to the sales team on best practices to manage a high volume of leads and opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Document and create new sales processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency for both the Account Executive and CSM teams.
  • Maintain day to day best practices of lead generation, pre-qualification and sales cadence follow up within Salesforce
  • Train the sales team on new processes or workflows within Salesforce, Pardot, and other tools
  • Build and run weekly, monthly, quarterly data, analytics and reports within Salesforce to inform and drive decision making.
  • Support sales team by the qualification of early stage leads from website, webinars, conferences, creation of sales materials,
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan upcoming, quarterly campaign strategies and outreach
  • Filter incoming sales leads to the appropriate sales representative, or qualify as needed
  • Manage logistics and planning of targeted sales campaigns, both domestically and internationally, in conjunction with sales representatives and marketing
  • Create reports and dashboards to track lead conversion rate, time from demo to close, average number of demos booked per month, and additional reports as needed in Salesforce
  • Work with the Operations and Marketing team to ensure CRM alignment throughout the company
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Sales Managers to improve late-stage pipeline workflows and processes

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years total experience in a combination of sales, sales management and/or sales operations required
  • Proficiency in reporting, workflows, lead and opportunity management in a CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and business communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications including PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Pardot, Hubspot, OutreachIO, SalesLoft, EchoSign DocuSign are a plus

Node/Ruby Application Engineer

At ORIS, we work at lightning speed and are accumulating happy customers at the same pace. We are looking for a sharp, motivated developer to help us build out our price monitoring solution. This full-time development position will be responsible for maintaining existing price monitoring systems, as well as building out many new features. You’ll listen to and translate product needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with our product team and our executives to ensure a smooth implementation.

As an Application Engineer you will play a major role in developing, deploying and supporting ORIS’ cloud based applications. Your willingness to play different roles as needed should thrill you versus frustrate you. Some days you’ll be working closely with the entire team. Other days you’ll be focused on a single task by yourself. It’s energizing and tiring.

 

Some key requirements:

 

  • Experience with node and/or ruby & automated testing
  • Experience with various forms of queueing and background jobs (SQS, Sidekiq, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience running stable, cloud-based applications
    • Setting up new deployment processes
    • Creating services in a linux environment
    • Setting up monitoring & reporting
  • Great communication skills & a positive attitude
  • Willingness to play different roles as needed

  • Fundamental CSS based styling using BEM and utility classes

Data Quality Engineer
A Data Quality Engineer at ORIS combines data analysis, data science, and software engineering skills to ensure our data is as accurate as possible. We check prices millions of times per day across the web and often run into situations that can affect the quality of our data. Our data quality engineering team (codename “Sigma”) finds innovative ways to identify possible bad data and then builds tools to fix issues in bulk.  Some things we are looking for:
  • Solid understanding of how the web works (HTTP, HTML, CSS, etc.)
  • Solid math and/or software development skills
  • Experience with (or desire to learn) R and/or Python
  • Good communication skills and great attitude
